Program note

In Voci eguali, the idea of a comprehensive development of musical material is replaced by an approach in favor of a range of possible developments. The piece consists of 21 fragments, in which the musical data - divided into three categories - are constantly being reformulated. In the first category, unaltered signals are exchanged continuously; in the second continuing grids occur in time due to interlocking patterns, while in the third category exchanges take place of melody and chord tones which constantly generate new constellations.
